Below is a link to my latest autobiographical essay "Love on the Block." Taking place in the summer of 1979, the piece is all about the (first) time I fell in love with a stripper. The beautiful cover was drawn and hand lettered by Daniel Fishel. Although I don't know Daniel personally, the talented artist has illustrated two of my autobiographical cover stories in the Baltimore City Paper.
