Dark Days--Life in Crack City

The latest essay by Harlem born writer Michael A. Gonzales is "Dark Days--Life in Crack City," which documents the crazy 1980s, when his lower-middle class neighborhood became a cracked out haven for fiends. "Dark Days" deals with his relationship to that devastating drug and its direct affects on his friends, family and himself.
